Escrow Agreement definition

The escrow agreement is a process whereby a supplier undertakes to entrust important elements to a third party escrow company in order to allow its clients/partners to access them in the event of default on its part.

The escrow contract takes the form of a contract between the various parties (bipartite or tripartite agreement) in which the conditions for the release of the items are specified.
